What the Hell – Part 4

The creature in the sea began to rise until another black splotch appeared in the sky about a mile further from shore. This one had a swarm of red vomit from its opening.

The creatures adding themselves to the mix had dog-like proportions mixed with dragons straight from a fairy tale but much more horrific. Razor fins ran from their elongated heads to the tips of their spear tails. Scales covered every inch of their body and wings spread on some but not all.  They immediately went for the black headless monsters and the one in the sea.

In seconds, its enormous domed head was covered in red. Each gash or sharp bite made it bleed a dark green. The painfilled roar that emanated from it nearly broke Alex’s mind.

Anywhere the black or red creatures came across a human, that person was decimated and ripped apart. Those who continued to record or stare at the scene began laughing, rocking or in the fetal position. Cops shot themselves and people on top of builds jumped to their deaths.

Alex could feel her mind following in the other’s wake, but a large hand covered her eyes. “Don’t look.” The man who had helped her before kept his hand where she couldn’t see. She clawed at his hand. Her heart raced as panic flooded her system. She needed to see!
